planter boxes

    3 responses

geoff starts with ...
due to space I will plant fruit trees in plantar boxes on a first floor deck.
How deep do I have to make the boxes to sustain good longterm growth?
How far apart can I plant given these conditions?
Given the climate with not much chilling time what varieties can I plant?
I am about 500m fr beach, so there is some wind. Which varieties will tolerate this?
Thanks

Any ideas on hanging planter boxes from aluminium handrails on upper balconies?..... (French Prov style) Any pitfalls? Any suppliers of these items in WA or Australia?

Thanks David
