Hi out there,
Can any body tell me how far south coconuts will fruit? I am just north of Byron Bay and thinking of giving some 'short stature ones' a try.
Many thanks...

At the moment there is a fruiting one ( fruit the size of elongated grapefruits) and at least another one flowering at TFW at Duranbah - not too much north of you. I guess the micro-climate has to be right though.

Thanks anonymous,
Guy I've contacted in Innisfail has some that he says grow well at North Stradbroke. He has them sprouting too so no great wait!
