They are even selling them up here Jon M...? No way I would grow them in Gero...Perth so-so perhaps?
Mike and QLD friends...they are seedling "no name"/generic trees....?
I don't trust Bunnings and their selections at all...it's just about making money Jon. :-(

Have not seen any "rave reviews" about star apples - if u have limited water and space u may be better off choosing a better fruit?
Bunno's also have "no name" coffee plants up here too...hmnnn...

There's a large Star Apple Tree growing in the Sydney Botanic Gardens. It must be at least 20 feet high and the same wide, maybe more. I was quite suprised to see it when I was there earlier this year and it has the name plaque on it that identified it as Star Apple.
So it will definitely grow in Sydney but perhaps it won't bear fruit.

I've tried 3 plants in Sydney even getting them to flower but sadly no fruits and they all died eventually over winter . I'm trying again for the fourth time and keeping it in a pot for the meantime time until they survive a few winters before I will plant them out again .

They are not looking too good in the Bunno's store here - after a month on the shelf now...
