John Mc says... I'm just an hour north of Sydney, and mine are doing OK. I have a seedling and a Kyogle grafted variety going on to three years in the ground. They are under a large canopy of spotted gums, and I am slightly elevated so are very protected and I don't get any frost up where they are. My African pride's near them are older and fruit well, they are very large this year. Also closeby are a seedling and two grafted Rollinia's doing well with one fruit hanging on over winter. Is your Monkey banana also known as Choui Cau? I have some of them hopefully fruiting this year. | About the Author JohnMc1 Warnervale NSW 2nd October 2012 8:47pm #UserID: 2743 Posts: 2043 View All JohnMc1's Edible Fruit Trees |
