This is recently added as OK for WA,
it is not a carrier of tomato yellow leaf curl virus.

All Euphorbia spp are carriers but other genus's in the Euphorbiaceae are nto considered carriers, get Daleys to modify the web site then you can order !!

Hey Mike (or anyone?) I was reading some research articles that suggest/state that these plants are "highly mycorrhizal dependent" - so I was wondering if this can affect seedling growth - if the right mycorrhiza aren't present in the growing mix..?

I'm just wondering why some folks have had their seedlings drop dead for no reason..? (a couple are quite experienced growers)

I would be very upset if I lost mine...!

Also - do think some bottom heat is worth using for germination..?
(It's averaging 10-13 degrees o/night and 17-20 day time..?)

Thanks :)

Amanda I am not sure about their requirements with m.r. or why they would drop dead. They grow madly and sprout wildly here with no encouragement.I am a bit of a sceptic when it comes to seeds struggling due to a lack of the correct mycorrhizae. On the Atherton tableland this species thrives in winter with lower temps than what you are experiencing now.

Ah - that's good info to know about the Tableland temps Mike - thanks :)

It's hard not be a bit nervous when there are no back up seeds handy.. ;-)

I have taken precautions against damping off - so I was a bit bothered that might have been a no-no with plants that have m.r. relationships...
