when does Flavorella Plumcot go dormant? (forum)

I have a Flavorella Plumcot and am trying to decide where to plant. It harvests end of may/early June. I am thinking of planting it next to a chocolate persimmon which harvest in November. Would the Plumcost loose its leaves by September so as light changes it won't block the persimmon?
I am inland in Los Angeles.
