Mike says... That is the reason they were introduced in NQ for swampy, salty and acid lands.Their compatability and resultant productivity did not live up to the promise and they are never used here now. They are still experimental and may work better with some PA strains. They would allow survival on lands the budwood's own root system may not tolerate. | About the Author 29th July 2013 2:41pm #UserID: 5418 Posts: 1438 View All 's Edible Fruit Trees |

VF says... I'm curious Mr Anonymous (ID 8080) as to why you are deliberately seeking noxious, declared weeds on this forum (first Miconia, now Pond Apple)?? Are you playing devil's advocate, simply a little foolish +/- misguided, or otherwise and are trying to trip up someone? I believe you're from Northern NSW. There are sites on the NSW dpi which you should look up regarding these two declared weeds. (My cut and paste for the sites did not work, but are easily found on a search.) | About the Author VF 29th July 2013 9:38pm #UserID: 6795 Posts: 736 View All VF's Edible Fruit Trees |
