The flexibility of the tubing allows you to run it along fences or through tight spaces and being black it is often not noticeable. Unlike brittle poly pipe the fixtures are easily assembled and won't burst when you turn the tap on full. You can join up to 90m in length or 3 lengths together then attach the sprinklers and still get enough pressure to to run the sprinkler heads.

Irrigation 20m Flex Tube 12mm diameter

$28.00

At 20m in length this is going to suit a small to medium Australian backyard. This flex tubing allows you to connect directly to your home garden taps and handle the typical water flow without bursting connections like typical polypipe that requires expensive pressure reducing connectors.

Irrigation 10m Flex Tube 5mm diameter

$9.90

This tubing allows you to connect from your large main line which is 12mm tubing into a sprinkler that will water your fruit trees. You can use T-connectors to daisy chain multiple sprinklers together however you should not run it more than 5m in distance due to the pressure loss from the main line.

Smart Gateway - Zigbee and Bluetooth

$30.00

This smart gateway is used in a smart irrigation system. It is placed near a window that has direct line of sight to your backyard. It allows the battery powered smart irrigation controller and soil moisture sensors to send signals to it that can then be controlled by the smart life app.

Smart Soil Sensor - Moisture/Humidity

$36.95

Use this to measure the humidity inside the soil. Humidity in the soil is an indication of the soil moisture. The 3 probes allow you to stick this probe directly into the soil near one of your fruit trees in your irrigation line. You can then use the humidity reading to find out if your plants require irrigation. Weather forecasts are rarely helpful because even though it might have been forecast to rain perhaps your backyard never got a drop. By measuring the humidity between each probe you can know if there is enough moisture to skip todays watering or if your plants are drying out and need more water. It requires 2AA batteries but uses zigbee to wirelessly transmit updates every 15 minutes to your Home Gateway (sold separately) This allows for very low power usage and achieves a long battery life using only 2AA batteries (required)
