Growing avocado in melbourne - I have grown a Shepherd avocado from a pit and at +25cm above the pit in the pot it needs to go in the ground. My question is do I plant it in the ground with the top of the pit showing? My feeling is YES otherwise the roots may rot. Also I have been a..4052 days 9hrs
