First couple of fruit dropped off, placed it next to my fruiting local Ficus opposita for cross pollination. Resulting handful of fruit large (grape sized) and lovely tangy strawberry flavour. No splitting even during a near record Cairns Wet Season. I pinched out the top and it is shooting and setting fruit again. I have a huge old Common tree in my yard, I am in the process of Topworking it with Brooks, Keitt, KP, R2E2 and NamDocMai, that's where the Frankenmango name comes from. Plan is to have Mangos early thru late on the same large tree; with the odd off season fruit that the remnant Common branches tend to produce up here I should have mangos 6 or 8 months of the year!
