[5170 days 10hrs ago]i think we all will be growing our own food one day i sure that natural disasters and climate change will alter the way eat now and into the future why not be a pioneer and eat fresh out of your own yard, save money, heathy organics, help the environment,be the envy of all your friends because you shop for food at home instead of the ridiculous prices that supermarket chains are sending the general population to buy stuff that has been in cold storage for months, to create new species and be recognised for creating them theres all ways some thing in season in my ever growing edible garden but what am really working on is passiflora rare species and creating my own which i have several projects in the works at the moment documenting with photos for evidence of new species!* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy |

Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report 1 of 1 people found this review useful CommentsEdward3 says... [4998 days 10hrs ago]Sounds interesting, but I am not clear about cross pollination. Are you saying that P.Temptation can pollinate sweet lilikoi, or the other way round?murray says... [4997 days 12hrs ago] yes this is so, i grow about 20 different types of passionfruit and have tried many varietys including p.grandilla/likoi which all my efforts to use these 2 together for fruit production have been unsuccessful but as soon as my p.temptation is crossed with it starts to show its fruit within 2 to 3 days of pollination this is a huge feat for me because i was about to rip out my vines as well, i already have 1 seedling opened up a few days ago i have at least 50 more seeds from 2 separate fruits planted waiting to see results wont be till next spring to see if there is a new type of vine abd flower consiering these two dont have alot in common in there structure and shape of leaves stem and flower, i have seeds of p.temptation but these could be another cross the bees go crazy fer this one and are busy going from different species in my garden that flower at different intervals, i do sell rare varietys on ebay quite regularily there are some on there right now or rare variety's!Edward3 says... [4996 days 4hrs ago] Well in that case I would like to try P.Temptation as well. When will you have these seeds available on eBay?* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy |
