Nashi Pear - Kosui 10/10

Amanda's Edible Fruits
Update: 2562 days 7hrs

Comments: - Homegrown nashi taste amazing. I love ours and plan on planting some more varieties. This a dwarf tree and I duo-planted it with a Bartlett for cross pollination. It hasn't needed it however and sets fruit on it's own - as they out of sync here.

Nashi Pear - Nijisseiki (Grafted) 3/10

Pat1's Edible Fruits
Update: 4610 days 2hrs

Comments: - My tree is on a dwarfing rootstock and it is rather slow growing.  I still prefer the vigourous rootstocks and control the tree size by various training methods.  I am very impatient. This tree has been in the ground for about 5 years now and is still small and not productive.  I do see some flowers in Spring but so far only had 1 fruit!  Very disappointed considering how well the stone fruits are doing.
