Nashi Pear - Nijisseiki (Grafted) 8/10

Edward3's Edible Fruits
Update: 345 days 4hrs

Comments: -

Fruited profusely but fruit rather small. So it looks necessary to thin fruit in order to get larger size.

Tree healthy but not vigorous. Did not fruit in 2022, but plentiful crop in 2023.

Planted: 2017

Height 1.5 metres

Dragon Fruit - Pearl (Cutting) 9/10

Edward3's Edible Fruits
Update: 345 days 4hrs

Comments: - This Vietnamese variety produces quite tasty, sweet fruit - red skin, white flesh. Better tasting than the red flesh variety. Should be eaten soon after picking to get best flavour. Importantly the fruit doesn't get affected by fruit fly or other pests, so is  recommended.

Fruiting Months February and March

Planted: 2012

Height 2 metres

Growing: In the Ground

Qty: 4

Fruit Harvest: 10 Fruit Per Year

First Fruited: 2 Years after I planted Cutting

Update: 1807 days 4hrs

Comments: - Homegrown nashi taste amazing. I love ours and plan on planting some more varieties. This a dwarf tree and I duo-planted it with a Bartlett for cross pollination. It hasn't needed it however and sets fruit on it's own - as they out of sync here.

Bought from Fruit Salad Tree Co.  Comes as a twin graft with a Kosui and another twin graft with a Shinsui.  Tip - Don't buy multi-grafted trees unless you have to as one graft will overtake the other.  Dwarfing rootstock.

Espaliered. 4th year and no fruit but think that was because I moved the plant earlier this year. Will bag fruit to protect from fruit fly. Apparently this fruit stores well, one reason why I picked it.
