Custard apples - Ricki: To confirm what others have said, Cherimoya is the Chilean relative to the custard apple. It's more frost hardy than the latter, and tastes less clawingly sweet...like a lemon meringe pie. Really very nice. I have one growing near Grafton, NSW..5693 days 11hrs
