Dwarf Mango - Irwin

Dwarf tree, sweet mild flavour. Regular, moderate yield. Attractive red purple skin colour. Flesh Average wt. 380gms. Low resistance to Anthracnose and Black Spot. Mid season fruiting. Harvested from a specific region of Japan, Irwin varieties are rotated as they ripen to evenly expose the surface to the sun and reach their full purple blush potential, when they are sold as Myazaki Mangos.
Dwarf Apple - Tropical Anna

Delicious crunchy apples similar to their cold climate cousins, Red Delicious, but only require a low amount of chill. On a semi dwarfing rootstock they are ideal for backyard plantings and container specimens. Anna will set some fruit on its own, an added bonus for small areas. Pollinate with Dorsett Golden or Tropic Sweet for greater fruit set. An apple best eaten fresh off the tree as they are not a storing apple.
Dwarf Mango - King Thai

A semi-dwarf tree making it ideal for backyards, it produces elongated fruits with a very small seed. Flesh is sweet, succulent, fibreless and aromatic with a slight tang. The fruits start out with green skin and ripen to yellow with pink-red blushed fruit. Compact, branching, slightly upright tree growing to 3-4m tall and 2-3m wide. Shows good resistance to anthracnose and black spot. The fruit of a clone of King Thai mango are sold commercially as Maha Bliss in Australian Markets.
Avocado - Giant Jala PBR

The Jala Avocado produces supersized Australian avocados. They can grow up to four times the size of the usual sized avocados you find in the shops. This is a new release from Fleming's Nurseries Qld, and will be available to the backyard gardener. At this stage, they consider it to be a B type with a good level of self-pollination. More information on this will be available next flowering season 2025. Featured on ABC News websites along with the TV program Landline. The variety is PBR, meaning unauthorised propagation is not allowed.
