Cherry - Minnie Royal

$69.00 ($54.00-$89.00 choose a size)

Minnie Royal cherry is a low chill producer of fruit with stand out flavour. It is a medium to large sized, red cherry with a firm texture. The tree is very productive and has been known to set heavy crops in southern California. Chill hours can be as low as 200 hours and does depend on micro climate. Fruiting can be as early as November. Minnie Royal requires a pollinator which has traditionally been the older Royal Lee variety but flowering times of these 2 can be mismatched in warmer areas and an intermediary is helpful. The newer, self pollinating Royal Crimson blooming can bridge between these two. Bees are the main pollinating insects, so plant flowering herbs to attract them to your garden. Other stonefruit may also provide pollination services. Plant within 5m of each other for best results. Hand pollination could be helpful in years where flowering times are mismatched.

Dwarf Almond - Self Pollinating Papershell

$69.00 ($59.00-$69.00 choose a size)

A new dwarf selection of this excellent, self-pollinating almond that bears heavy crops of soft-shelled almonds with a good, sweet flavour. The kernals are broad, full and oval in shape, they are mid season. The tree has an upright form and is a self pollinating large Papershell. Almonds require a climate with dry Summer/Autumn and cool winters.

Cherry - Lapins

$49.00 ($44.00-$49.00 choose a size)

A late maturing cherry tree with a bright appearance. Large, dark red to mahogany in colour. Red flesh, firm and juicy. An excellent bearer and grower. Late Season. Self-fertile, it is suitable for growing in warm temperate and cool temperate regions.

Pear - Beurre Bosc

$59.00 ($44.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Large fruit, russet yellow-brown colour. Flesh is yellowish-white and juicy with a coarse texture and slightly granular. Flavour is very good and sweet. Full flavour develops after three to four weeks under refrigeration. Mid-season maturity. Recommended by Flemings Nursery - Pick of the CropPollinator Williams, nijiseiki

Mandarin - Imperial

$39.00 ($39.00-$39.00 choose a size)

A proven early variety that is still very popular today. Excellent colour and flavour; the skin is smooth, glossy, thin and easy to peel. Older trees may develop a biennial bearing habit.

Lemon - Meyer

$37.00 ($37.00-$39.00 choose a size)

The popular Meyer is not a true lemon but likely to be a natural hybrid between a lemon and an orange. The lower acidity and reduced sourness makes it one of the most widely grown home-garden varieties. Very hardy and prolific. The fruits are a deep orange-yellow colour with thin skin and they are very juicy, making them perfect for use in dressings and marinades. The meyer is low in pectin.

I am happy with the shape of this grafted apple tree as it will suit my plan to train it as an espalier along a fence.
