Leptospermum Pink Cascade

Low, spreading dense shrub growing to 0.5m tall with a spread of 1m. The branchlets have an arching habit. The new growth is bright red. Pink flowers are borne in dense masses along the stems. Main flowering periods are spring and autumn, with some flowers found all year round.

This unique fruit is grown by a local fruit collector. The flesh is bright orange inside the green skin. Used in dressing, marinades and as a colourful garnish. It look like a mandarin but tastes like a lime. The vigorous nature of the tree makes it ideal for using as a rootstock for grafting other citrus.

Mandarin - Miho Wase (Satsuma)

Very early fruiting and easy peeling. High sugar levels in fruit. Very popular export variety. One of the main satsuma varieties of Japan. Slow growing dwarf tree. Fruit is better flavoured than the common Silverhill variety although a little smaller.
