Dwarf Apple - Magnus Summer Surprise PBR
$59.00 ($59.00-$64.00 choose a size)
Bright, shiny, vibrant red apple with deep-pink coloured flesh inside. When left on the tree to ripen they develop a sweet, berry flavour. All parts of the tree including flowers, branches and fruit have red-purple colouring. Growing to a height of 2-3 metres with a spread of 2-3 metres, so it is good for backyards. This variety is subject to Plant Breeder Rights.
Pine Nut
$29.00 ($19.75-$99.00 choose a size)
An attractive large pine tree that bears cones of edible nuts. These are considered a delicacy in Mediterranean style cooking, due to their sweet, buttery flavour. Trees can be expected to start producing cones from about year 6. But can take longer. Each cone holds about 50 nuts and 100 kg of cones holds about 20 kg of nuts. Grows best in dry cooler areas with excellent drainage. Trees can set nuts on their own, but cones may be poorly filled. Plant two or more to improve nut set.
Orange - Arnold Blood
$54.00 ($54.00-$79.00 choose a size)
Sweet variety requiring hot dry conditions for best colour and cool winter nights. Blood oranges have their own distinctive flavour reminiscent of strawberries. This is the best colouring variety in the sub tropics.
Claret Ash
$54.00 ($19.75-$79.00 choose a size)
A spectacular deciduous tree with foliage that begins to change from mid-green to a brilliant rich claret. Grafted onto a very drought resistant rootstock Fraxinus oxycarpa.
