Seedling of the well known Californian Medjool variety. Beautiful ornamental tree with the added advantage of delicious dates. Male or female plants so plant more than one. Require a long hot dry summer. Our palms are small seedlings and are not sexed, they will take about 4-6 years to flower and you will not be able to sex them until then, we recommend a planting of at least three to increase your chances of having both a male and a female palm.

The new growth is a coppery colour along with their beautiful honey scented flowers makes it a very ornamental tree. Bears heavy crops of quality fruit that can be eaten fresh from the tree. A highly ornamental shrub with spreading branches and aromatic foliage. The Brazilian cherry has delicate white flowers that are followed within 3 weeks by a ribbed fruit that changes from green to orange to maroon-red when fully ripe. The young bronze foliage turns a glossy deep green when mature and deep red in cold, dry weather. The fruit is delicious eaten out-of-hand or as an ingredient in jelly, sauce and pies. Refrigeration enhances the flavour and makes these a good substitute for strawberries. Weed warning: This tasty and very hardy pumpkin shaped berry is popular as a kids treat.
