Dwarf Persimmon - Ichikikijiro (NA)

Large, flat fruit of excellent quality, non-astringent and seedless when grown on its own. Being a dwarf variety it is well suited to backyards but is also a good commercial variety. Will fruit as early as March in the subtropics. Ichikikijiro generally produce only one flush of growth in the spring so don't be alarmed if your tree is not growing in summer, this habit contributes to their small stature.

Superior flavour, with smooth, creamy flesh and pear-shaped, green-skinned, fruits that are textured like hass. A vigorous variety that commences fruiting in its 2nd year. Self pollinating. Dwarf tree producing a rounded fruit with the later crop being more pear-shaped. The thick flesh has a smooth-texture, good flavour and high oil content. It shows some cold tolerance and bears consistently heavy crops. H June to August The fruit is medium sized with green leathery pliable skin and a small seed. This is an excellent choice for backyards, higher yields in trees that are cross pollinated with a 'B'variety avocado near by.
Finger Lime - Collette

Flavour is highly aromatic and has been rated as superior by Chefs. Fruit is highly ornamental, with its shiny black skin and as a cut fruit, as it has a dark lime green pulp. Displays well as a garnish, with the juice vesicles popping out on cutting and the fruit splitting open wide. Its wide shape facilitates scooping out the pulp with a teaspoon. Rind colour is black/purple at optimum maturity and pulp colour is a dark yellow/green. Mean fruit size is 50mm x 25mm. It is a mid to late season variety but bears fruit all year round.
