Dwarf Mulberry - Red Shahtoot

Much more compact in growth habit than the King White Shahtoot. These delicious sweet fruits can reach 10cm in length. Ideal for back yards and we consider it a must have fruit tree for the back yard. The best way to eat mulberries is fresh from the tree. If some should make it to the kitchen bench they make excellent pies, jams, wines and sauces. Multiple crops are possible by pruning directly after your first crop. Suitable for most regions of Australia, although it can be susceptible to damage from late frosts. The red shahtoot is ideal for growing in pots and containers due to it small growing habit and it is ideal for school gardens as it does not produce fruits that stain and the sweet fruits are very appealing to children. This variety is best suited to warm subtropical climates and does not perform well in temperate climate where it tends to drop their fruit.

A red fleshed navel, this variety was discovered in Venezuela in 1976. It has pink to red flesh similar to Star Ruby grapefruit. In South Africa it matures slightly earlier than Washington navel. It is sweet and the fruit often grows quite large. It is also a seedless variety that looks fantastic. The fruit is very large and is becoming a favourite in taste all around Australia. Medium-large to large blood orange variety of the Ippolito strain of Tarocco, with few to no seeds. Has the highest Vitamin C content than any other orange. One of the major blood orange varieties of the world. The distinctive colour is a natural mutation and is due to the presence of anthocyanin, the same plant compound that is responsible for the colour of pomegranates and is particularly high in the Ippolito strain. Yellow skinned, White fleshed, with a thick pith that is very easy to peel It can be a bit seedy. The flavour of Flicks Yellow is sweet and with a slight hint of grapefruit. It is Cold hardy. Certain characteristics suggest this is not a true pummelo but a hybrid. The fruit is quite unusual looking with a bump near the stem.
