I got fruit, one year after planting (around 2 dozen),only trick is trying to work out when ripe for eating...first successful eating has been 1st week of February..fruit has an apple/ lemon taste which sweetens when cooked, and tastes a little like rhubarb

Loving my Redlove. Received as bare rooted tree last year it produced a late crop of 5 apples. We removed them for the new season but they were perfectly formed just not ripe. Very healthy tree growing a meter first year in well prepared soil. -1 to 34

Really interested in growing one of these beauties. I'd like to graft a granny smith onto it to get a combined Red and Green Apple tree
