Dwarf Persimmon - Fuyu (NA)

$79.00 ($79.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Fuyu is a semi-dwarf variety, well suited to growing in small backyards and can be kept to 2m with pruning. The fruit is large and flat, orange-red in colour with a sweet, mild flavour. Great eaten crunchy but just luscious when left to go soft. Besides producing delicious fruit, Persimmons are highly ornamental with their beautiful autumn foliage. Non astringent, so can be eaten when still hard. When young, protect from hot afternoon sun, and when dormant, from wet conditions. Seedless when grown on their own. If cross pollinating with another variety they can have seeds in the flesh as shown in the display picture.

Pistachio - Sirora - Female

$79.00 ($79.00-$89.00 choose a size)

High yielding female tree, pair with a male for pollination. Grows to be a small tree or shrub. Best suited to areas with cold winters and hot dry summers, requiring 1000 hours below 7.5 degrees in the winter. Well suited to hot inland areas of southern Australia. Fruits ripen earlier than the Kerman selection, extending harvests. Summer and autumn need to be dry to prevent fungal problems. Pistachios are dioecious meaning male and females flowers are produced on separate trees, one of each will be required for fruit set. Spreading habit, wider than it is tall. Sirora was developed in Australia by CSIRO and has shown to be a more even bearer than other varieties which tend toward biennial cropping, meaning they alternately bear lots of nuts one year, then very little the following year

Pistachio - Blue Male

$89.00 ($89.00-$89.00 choose a size)

Male pistachio, pollinator for Females. Blue will come into production as a pollen producer at an earlier age than other males. One male will pollinate up to 8 females.

Pistachio - Kerman Female

The female Kerman Pistachio is popular in commercial production and has good flavour with a nice green colour to the kernel. Late blooming, biennial heavy producer. Prefers a longer growing season Pistachio trees are best suited to areas with cold winters and hot dry summers, requiring 1000 hours below 7.5 degrees in the winter. Dwarf Banana - Nathan

$24.00 ($24.00-$49.00 choose a size)

Dwarf Nathan is a cultivar of the popular Cavendish banana. The flavour is sweet and creamy on these small bananas. The tree is super dwarf reaching a maximum height of only 2m so it is perfect for pots, so it can be grown on balconies and in backyards. This makes it well suited to growing in cooler areas.

Avocado - Reed (A)

$54.00 ($54.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Large, round , thick skinned variety with a smooth, green skin. They have a mild to rich flavour and have a good storing ability once cut and placed in the fridge. They are also a great choice for using in salads as they tend not to go mushy as does a Hass when very ripe. H Aug - Dec
