My cashew nut tree is bearing like mad , hundreds on.
Touched this one yesterday, and it fell in my hand. Tasted the 'bell', tastes like a cross between a grape and a mango? Possums and wallabies love em.

Want to sell me some seed for germination? I bought a Cashew nut seedling tree from Daley's but didn't have any luck. Apparently there's a Cashew nut tree growing at Morriset, which is within 15km's from my place. Maybe germinating them from seed in my climate might get me somewhere?

Yeah no problems John Mc, I'll give you some.

Don't forget, they're a huge spreading/sprawling tree, with thick branches that usually break and crash to the ground, and keep growing!

Can you give me your postal address, thanks.

There is an ancient bearing tree down near Childers on one of the coast roads . It has been spread around many growers in the area . One large tree I noticed at Duncans avacado farm in town . Pretty certain these are the source of Daleys trees .
It does not do well in the wet tropics .

Yeah, you're probably right, It was only hearsay, I've never been able to find it. How firm is that min tolerance of +10 deg C, does anyone know?
I lost a small seedling of an Agati, Agati grandiflora, (vegetable hummingbird), which is very firm at +10 deg C. My bush block gets down to +4.5 deg C. I might be wasting my time then?, I wonder if more advanced trees would tolerate down to +4.5 for brief overnight periods?

I've just paid for one from Daleys, going to experiment with it in my new garden patch we've cleared in the front yard in Sydney.
