Cherry tree help!

Hi All, i am hoping you can help me with a problem i am having with my cherry tree. I've had it for about 2.5 years now. Last season it fruited, but the fruit shrivelled up and died very quickly. I noticed sap coming out of the tree in certain locations and am concerned that the tree might have developed bacterial canker or something similar.
I've attached some pictures, please note the blue colour is from a copper spray that i've applied in the past.
My concern is that the problem has developed in the centre of the tree in the graft joint. With tree limbs i can cut these off if necessary, but am concerned more about the issue in the graft as i obviousy cannot amputate!

If anyone has any ideas on what i can do to remedy the situation, i'd be happy to hear!?
Thanks in advance,
Ben.

Hi bspargo, youre spot on about it being bacterial canker. It seems like the only treatment is to remove infected wood but if the infections right on the graft union then it'd probably be safer to pull it out and replant rather than regraft :(.

Looks like I've now got the same thing in one of my cherry trees (only about 3 years old) - but I might be able to chop it all out as it is all in one branch above the graft.

When is the best time to cut of the affected branch?
What is the best way to treat the rest of the tree and other trees to prevent this spreading?
