I purchased a finger lime tree (pink) from Bunnings about 4-6 month ago. i planted it in the ground next to my other Citrus trees.
Finger lime started to lose its leaves from bottom and now its reaching to the top parts. There are quiet a few yellow leaves remaining.
Some bottom branches have turned brown (looks dried out....)
Is this normal or is the plant dying??

alex grow it in a pot. They don't do well in the ground. You'll still get an abundance of fruit that will be better quality anyhow.

Not really, they're on on tri. Tri is ok in NSW but in queensland it's terrible (in the ground). Way too hot here.

Yes, it is a poor rootstock for tropical/subtropical areas. Needs some degree of winter chill to perform best, as it is a deciduous specie.

almost 12 month since i transferred my finger lime to a pot and placed in it the north facing corner of the house (part shade/ morning sun).
The plant has developed new branches, i've got 15-20 flower buds and hoping to get fruit this season.
Indeed they do well in a pot in a semi shaded/ part sun location.
