I brought the Plumcott - Spring Satin two years ago, the plant is healthy but no fruit at all, not even flowering.

This might be the year, especially if we get some chill this winter, raichu; they can be a bit slow so be patient. They flower on old wood, I think, so don't prune too severely.

Sorry to break this to you raichu but Castle Hill does not get 750 chill hours in winter. I will be measuring the chill hours in my area this winter, but I'm quite sure we do not get that much.

You just can't rely on nursery staff's information, they are just there to sell whatever they can. If you want to grow stone fruits it must be specifically low chill.

There were orchards years ago at Castle Hill before land became expensive ; back then there were no low chill stone fruits. As long as you are not in a "heat island" it may work.

Yes, I would say have a go. There was an apricot tree at a street corner in Lane Cove and whenever I'm with someone tall I'd get some delicious apricots. For some reason the tree was chopped down one day. Sad.
