Hi, is there such a thing as organic fruit trees? Or does the "organic" label only apply to either fruits grown with organic methods (on grafted trees) or to vegetables grown from seed from organically grown (non-hybrid/non-GMO) plants? I can't find anyone selling "organic fruit trees" so I'm guessing there's no such thing or am I wrong?

Probably not from a commercial nursery but a backyarder would do it.

Just not enough demand yet for anyone to make a business of this. It won't change until a lot more growers want to change to organic methods - still relatively low numbers.

Vai, to be truly organic & certified as such your property will need to have at least 3 years of non-chemical( no sprays, no artificial fertilisers such as super phosphate, even osmocote & thrive! Not even envirosafe iron based snailbait I have heard! Totally green with no artificial additives ie animal husbandry etc.
I am sure there are Certified forum members who can elaborate for you!

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'll stick with regular fruit trees for now and just grow then with as few chemicals as we can.
