Deanboy starts with ... Hi everyone, I recently purchased a plum tree from the tablelands (on top of the hill from Cairns) and the local nursery guys told me they were grafted onto tropical plum stock and would grow and fruit in Cairns? I planted it to have a go but I'm wondering if anyone else in tropical climates have grown similar? | About the Author Deanboy BAYVIEW GARDENS 11th September 2018 1:07pm #UserID: 18978 Posts: 1 View All Deanboy's Edible Fruit Trees |

Bangkokii says... I have eugenia candolleana's and they bloom very well, not much fruit though. I also had grafted pluots from Oz which grew well but i culled them since i didn't have high hope for those. I wonder what the latin name is for tropical plum since i've seen those tree's for sale many times but never with the latin name. I grew a big variety of governor plum but they were not nice so i culled the tree. | About the Author Bangkokii nonthaburi 5th October 2018 6:07pm #UserID: 16893 Posts: 74 View All Bangkokii's Edible Fruit Trees |
