My 9-10 months old Tropic Snow peach has dropped almost all of the leaves in this winter and currently has probably more than 150 flower buds.. 2-3 flower buds has started to open now but others are very small. When is the right time to feed sulphate of potash to peach tree?

Hi Db, pics of my dwarf 'seed-grown' peach tree as of yesterday (Sat).
I've also given it some 'Richgro fruit & citrus' tree fertilizer, it's inorganic :( I usually give it 'Richgro Organic fruit & citrus' tree fertilizer, but bunnings never had any.
Oh, almost forgot, it gets some wood ash from our wood stove :-)
This tree would be over 35 years old, and it still only 1.2m high!

Hi Brendan, wow your tree is real dwarf one, looks awesome.. Mine has started flowering now but flowers are very small size (less than 1 inch once fully opened), but I'm not worried as my tree is just 10 months old (already 6ft tall).. I have applied handful of sulphate of potash to help it, hopefully it will set some fruit in this season..

Handy size Brendan. Also at 35yrs+ sure beats the approx. 10-15 yrs you supposedly get from Peach trees. Well done! Gotta be doing something right.

Update about my peach tree - around 100 fruits are now set. Tree is only 10 months old so looks like I need to thin it heavily...

Hi Brendan.
Got a few seeds off you Dec '13, only 3 of the 6 sprouted and finally only 1 survived. Now its 30cm tall and flowering.
Thanks again.

Looks good ivepeters! I might have to get some seeds off you one day, as my poor old peach tree was blown over in a storm, and may not survive :-(
You may have the only 'proper' dwarf peach in Aus.?

It's always really sad when a good tree gets damaged, hope it get better.
Was thinking of removing any fruit forming, since its still too small to carry full sized fruit.
Hopefully this summer it'll grow big enough so next year I can return the favour.
