Wurtz avocado

what's the Wurtz avocado taste like compared with Hazz? I like to buy one but not which one to choose from. I like the Hazz texture and it can keep for long time but unlike the tree size. What's your advise of these? Thanks.

The taste of Wurtz is polarising. Another option is Lamb Hass, whose tree size will not be a problem.

I'd like to get this thread going again. So any other opinions on the taste of Wurtz avos?
Reason is I would like to plant a smaller sized avo (in Sydney). Any other options? I've read Lamb Hass isn't too big, but I've never tasted one as far as I remember.
Cheers
- Dave

Hi Dave, I have a Lamb Hass and the taste is sensational,IMO better than Hass, good size fruit. Starts turning purple on the tree so takes alot of the guess work out of knowing when to pick. I believe they don't hang on the tree as long as the Hass tho

Yeah, from reading about them I gather Lamb Hass would be a good choice. Any downside? Do fruitfly bother them?
