Currently have two vines self seeded from that one which is now on its way out. Fruits prolifically, but if we like the taste of the shahtoot this one will come out. Mulberry - White Shahtoot 10/10 Ru's Edible FruitsUpdate: 6098 days 18hrs Comments: - This was bought partly to replace a beautiful white cedar shade tree we removed because of its poisonous berries. Pruning is more to create a strong 'climbable' frame for the kids. Other than that, maintenance is zero. It grew like mad last wet summer, and I hesitated too long before cutting it back, but it has fruit set on every new season's shoot.
