These Panache cuttings were given to me by fellow forum member Kim14. They are still small but are fruiting for the first time in 2019, one year after I rooted the cuttings.

Panache has very pretty veriegated branches and fruit. Hopefully they taste as good as they look!

Comments: - White Adriatic is one of the nicest figs around, that is why it is so common. This fig has outstanding flavour and should be part of everyone%u2019s fig collection.

Fig - Purple Vigilante (Cutting) ^8/10

Purple Vigilante is very sweet fig that%u2019s full of flavour. It is a lighter shade of purple than Black Genoa and the inside is dark red instead of pink. The flavour is also superior to Black Genoa.

The tree produces well even though it is still young and requires little maintenance other than watering. I currently grow it in a 50cm pot.

Purple Vigilante figs are delicious and this variety is well worth growing if you can find it.

Rescued (a friend didn't want the plant anymore) as a dormant pot-bound plant that had never fruited. I pruned it within an inch of its life and it seems much happier now. I'm hoping I'll get fruit next year.

leaves emerge in August / September. There only appears to be a single fruit. But oh, the taste of that little fruit ... divine! As a kid I used to eat wild figs by the river, and I've eaten shop figs, but this is so much yummier.

Unfortunately I often forget to water the pot in the summer ... so perhaps that is a factor. I really need to figure a better location for this plant. The fig only gets washing machine run off, but it still really needs to be planted rather than in a pot - I'm hoping to plant it in a soak-well when I build a vegetable patch (so worms can move in and out but roots are trapped). It will be used to shade summer sun near the laundry door. I am yet to figure the ideal spot - additional water has resulted in a few more fruit but it doesn't seem to be doing much. I have added worms from the worm farm.

I'm going to release this guy onto the farm (a friend wants a small fig on their rural property). I cannot put him in the ground and he's not a "pretty" feature in the pot so I'd rather he had a bit more attention and I could plant somethign I use more. Very tasty, but hidden out the back so I'd rather see it go somewhere appreciated.

the fruit will most likely identify it. Most likely it was a cutting, rather than seed growing, so it should be good. If not, you can graft figs or start new from cuttings. I'm growing on a couple varieties, but they're still tiny

Got eaten by the staffy when planted. 

Fertilised with manure, woodchip, Blood n bone 10% potash.

Seems to have fruit all year round? Anyway - the fruit is really lovely - highly recommend.  Water heaps when fruiting to get that delicious jelly like centre.... an often under rated fruit.

Must be a thing with dogs and brown turkey fig trees- we lost the first one to our Schnauzer puppy- ate every leaf! New one has a wire cage!!

Fig cuttings taken from a Karagullen Orchard in winter 2009. The orchardist labelled them: white, late, 2 fruit in season. Potted up to larger pots Dec31 2009. Lost a few white and late figs, but the 2-season much more reliable in this batch. I've now given most away and kept 1 of each in a 50L tub. Plan is to braid the trunks into one multi-variety fig tree
