Raspberry - Atherton (Cutting) 9/10 Mindy1's Edible FruitsUpdate: 2441 days 7hrs Comments: - UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2019 Had my first Atherton raspberry - fruit was delicious, larger than European raspberry and I think actually better. Fruit looked glorious in the sun, almost a metallic sheen to it which was very pretty, but also did not seem to be attractive to the birds around here. Very happy with this, highly recommended. INITIAL Had never heard of a native raspberry so looking forward to it fruiting and sampling the fruit's taste. Has been pretty vigourous in the cane berry patch but placed in the centre so the chances of it escaping are reduced (thanks for the heads up!) Fruiting Months September Planted: 2018 Height 1.8 metres Growing: In the Ground Qty: 1 First Fruited: 12 Months after I planted Cutting Sun/Shade: Full Sun Water Given in: Spring Pruned By: 100% in Spring Pollination: Self Pollination Organic Status:Organic Was this review helpful?
