A low chill, deliciously sweet and crunchy apple. Bears two weeks before Anna. On a semi dwarfing rootstock, ideal for backyard plantings and container specimens.
Dwarf Orange - Navelina
$44.00
A Spanish variety. Navelina produces fruit of excellent quality and brilliant colour, very early in the season. Good fruit size and naturally develops an outstanding deep red orange skin which is very attractive. Trees are compact and smaller growing than most varieties of orange, when grown on Flying Dragon rootstock it is a very small tree, well suited to container and balcony growing.
Lemonade Tree
$39.00 ($39.00-$39.00 choose a size)
This delicious, sweet, juicy fruit tastes like lemonade and can be eaten as a fresh fruit straight off the tree. The tree often has thorns and bears several heavy crops each year.
Keriberry
$23.90 ($23.90-$23.90 choose a size)
A supply of fresh berries in early spring when there is few other fruits available is very welcomed. The fruit looks like a large blackberry and has a flavour between that and a raspberry. A strong trellis is needed for support. Very vigorous. Weed Warning: This very desirable and heavy fruiting berry is a very vigorous grower. It can be easily maintained in a garden situation by mowing around the production area to keep down the runners, however if neglected and abandoned the runners will gradually spread through a large area and can be difficult to regain the balance. Grown commercially in NZ for years this beauty is capable of bearing almost all year round in warmer climates.
