Dwarf Persimmon - Ichikikijiro (NA)

Large, flat fruit of excellent quality, non-astringent and seedless when grown on its own. Being a dwarf variety it is well suited to backyards but is also a good commercial variety. Will fruit as early as March in the subtropics. Ichikikijiro generally produce only one flush of growth in the spring so don't be alarmed if your tree is not growing in summer, this habit contributes to their small stature.

Dwarf Lime - Kaffir

Also known as Makrut Lime. The rough bumpy fruit is inedible but its oil has strong insecticidal properties. Kaffir lime rind is an essential ingredient in a Thai curry paste, a teaspoons of Kaffir lime rind is used in both red and green Kaffir lime gives the curry a very distinctive flavour. The leaves are added to the curry once it is cooking and can also be added when cooking rice.

I used my vacuum to remove the stink bugs from the citrus tree. I sucked them all up and put the bag in the bin. I don't like killing things but they were really attacking the vintage orange tree.

Regarding previous advice , stink bugs removal .... Do not squash the bug , just grab them by one of their long legs and drown them into soapy water. Wear eye and hand protection !

Remove stink bugs from your citrus with pliers with long pointy nose ( one by one) and drown them into a container with soapy water. You must have eye and hand/arm protection .
