This tall tree is often found on the edge of rainforests. It has soft, fibrous, orange bark and a dense crown. Tallowwood is so named due to the greasy feel of the wood when cut, and is a known koala feed tree.

Best in subtropical or warm temperate climates.Good flavour and firmness for a low chill nectarine. Suited to areas that receive minimal cold weather during the winter months. This cultivar should perform well along coastal regions from Sydney through to Nambour, Qld and in the coastal areas of Perth.

Suggested varieties to grow alongside a Hass are Shepard, Sharwill, Fuerte, Bacon (if you're in a cooler climate)and Linda. Happy fresh avocado smashing.
