Dwarf Mango - King Thai

$79.00 ($79.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Equal if not better in flavour than the Bowen mango. A semi-dwarf tree making it ideal for backyards, it produced elongated fruits similar to the Nam Doc Mai. The fruits start out with green skin and ripen to yellow with pink-red blushed fruit. Compact, branching, slightly upright tree growing to 3-4m tall and 2-3m wide. Shows good resistance to anthracnose and black spot.

Hazelnut - Halls Giant

$44.00 ($40.95-$44.00 choose a size)

Halls Giant is the main pollinator for Ennis. It does not produce a big crop of nuts but it does shed large amounts of pollen late in the season. Every planting of hazelnuts should contain at least 20% pollinators.

Mango - Alphonso

$59.00

Yellow skinned, medium size, only slight fibre, excellent quality. Sets well in subtropics. It is a favourite of India where it is the most desired of all the mangoes. So although not a huge mango the quality and taste is what makes it famous.

Mango - R2E2

$64.00 ($17.90-$89.00 choose a size)

One of the largest and most attractive fruits with good, sweet flavour. High flesh to seed ratio with very slight fibre. Susceptible to Black Spot and Anthracnose. It has proven to be a consistent cropper over a range of climates. Vigorous growth habit. wt 675gms. It can be purchased as a more expensive grafted variety which will fruit earlier and have a known cultivar or cheaper seedling plants which are more hardy than the grafted selection and these seedling plants although they take longer to fruit and establish.

Dwarf Mango - Palmer

$59.00 ($59.00-$89.00 choose a size)

Promising late variety with large elongated fruit. Brightly coloured skin coloured with purple and red. The flesh is smooth and almost fibreless. Very sweet and good quality. Produces well and is fairly consistent. Semi Dwarf growing to about 1/2 the size of a Bowen Mango

NARRACAN, VIC

Purple Sugar Cane

Love this plant. I chose this plant because eventually I wanted a wind break for my banana plants. Also for nostalgia reasons. It reminds me of holidaying through Queensland as a kid. When I got the sugar cane I left it in It's pot for 2 weeks inside to let it settle and acclimatise then re potted it into a bigger pot. I have kept it inside next to a south facing window under grow lights to see it through winter. After the last frost I will move it outdoors under my veranda. See how it grows.

MT WAVERLEY, VIC, Australia

I love sugar cane juice and chewing on the stalk. This plant needs a lot of water and fertiliser for large stalks. Grows happily in Melbourne.
