Pick most of fruits when hard and before the fruitfly gets it. In 2 weeks the fruits will soften and have the same aroma and sweetbess - but without the larve | Ariel Shai - Beit Helkiya, ISRAE 14-Jun-2006

I don't know what variety this is as I bought it from Diggers and they didn't say. I've read that it will survive down to -5 when mature, and the fruit sounds amazing, so I thought I'd give it a go. Doing well in the ground so far, planted in early spring and protected with an empty water tube, so we'll see how it copes with winter.

Just arrived last 08/02/18. I will let it grow for a while and use it to graft other desirable CV's next spring. I tip pruned it upon arrival to encourage multiple lateral growths to be used as a springboard for other Casimiroa E. varieties.
