shiphards say they have no knowledge of the plant, might need someone with friend/family in england to procure some seeds for us?

i like my silver beet and not having to replant each year would be a bonus

That is a type of silverbeet - the Asturian is a cabbage. Different family. You can see a pic of it here:

I grow Southern European spinach (a type of silverbeet) which is very similiar to lucullus. Nice, but the Asturian sounds interesting.
