Is it the tree also known as the Moreton Bay Chestnut? The pods are quite spectacular, it's a common tree in Eastern Australia

Moreton bay chestnut (black bean tree) doesn't grow in Europe, so it's hard to tell exactly what you mean.

Over to you Trikus. You have a million of those seeds and pods and sometimes send stuff to Europe.

I think they could get started during the european summer and stay alive in greenhouses.
