Natal Plum - Carissa Macrocarpa - March 2016

This little shrub is still well like under 10cm one year on.  It just hasn't gone anywhere.  Except it did flower!.  The most lovelly smelling little white flower.

July 2017 took the shadecloth guard off it to see if that makes a difference.

It enjoyed having more sun but in 2018 I ended up relocating it to another part of the garden in the hope of giving it a better chance.

Very spiny little shrub with beautiful flowers and hope to see it grow up

Plumcott - Spring Satin (Grafted) 10/10

Bloodanddreams 's Edible Fruits
Update: 3346 days 2hrs

Comments: - I have many fruit trees, but this is the only one my kids rave about. Can taste different depending on the level of coloration inside. More red - more plum like. One fruit year after planting, 50 odd second year. I am hoping for exponential increase. Fruits after Apricot Fireball and before Tropical Beauty Peach. Unbelievably juicy. Eat outside.

Sarah's Edible Fruits
Update: 4789 days 0hrs

My first attempt at espailiering. I think I may have chosen the wrong type of plum as it's not shooting where I predict. Ahh..too ambitious for a novice pruner..Few nice fruit set, but as they were on the lowest wire the dog bumped most of them off.

Growing rapidly and have to prune regularly to prevent it going sky high. Many fruit set, however all but 6 remained til ripe. Not sure why? Looking forward t next year to see what happens. Delicious tasting plums.
