Tyalgum Purple Epiphyllum Linton's Edible FruitsUpdate: 1496 days 19hrs Comments: - Tyalgum Purple is an extremely cold tolerant epiphyllum hybrid. The fruit contain a crisp spoonable flesh that is evocative of dragonfruit but with a stronger flavour and higher bix rating than dragonfruit. This plant is much more hardy than dragonfruit and being shade tolerant does not require full sun to set fruit. I grow them in dry sandy soil in full shade. Planted: 2020 Height 1 metres Growing: In a Pot Qty: 3 First Fruited: 2 Years from purchase in pot Sun/Shade: Full Shade Pollination: Self Pollination Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report |
