Delicious, medium to large, dark red cherries, with a rounded to heart shaped look. This is a low chill cherry, requiring 200-400 hours of chill. Royal Lee requires a pollinator which has traditionally been the older Minnie Royal but flowering times of these 2 can be mismatched in warmer areas and an intermediary is helpful. The newer, self pollinating Royal Crimson blooming can bridge between these two. Bees are the main pollinating insects, so plant flowering herbs to attract them to your garden. Other stonefruit may also provide pollination services. Plant within 5m of each other for best results. Hand pollination could be helpful in years where flowering times are mismatched.

Highly disease resistant and should not require spraying making them ideal for coastal climates and the subtropics. This variety is owned by FAVGRO. The purchaser agrees that propagation of the vines for sale, without authorisation from the breeder is prohibited. They are vigorous vines and should not be planted where they can escape into native bushland, as they would quickly smother trees and shrubs around them.

Most popular variety due to both its superior taste and excellent keeping qualities. Medium sized, pear-shaped fruit has an excellent creamy, flesh. The leathery rough dark-purple skin turns to black when ripe. H Aug-Dec. Hass is an A type variety and for good fruit set a B type variety is needed for cross pollination. Suggested varieties to grow alongside a Hass are Shepard, Sharwill, Fuerte, Bacon (if you're in a cooler climate)and Linda. Happy fresh avocado smashing.

Flame Tree x Lacebark Brachychiton

Wanted a Flame Tree but when I saw the cross between a Flame tree and a Lacebark I had no hesitation in purchasing one. I wanted to plant the tree in a northerly position on our property which is subjected to fairly strong north-easterly winds so I have supported the tree until it has established with 2 garden stakes and lightly held with jute webbing natural tree support.Works a treat. Lovely tree and can't wait to watch it's growth and development,
