Lychee - Bosworth 3 (Cutting) 10/10![]() Update: 1960 days 18hrs Comments: - This variety produces large fruit with very good taste and many have small seed. We prune the top after fruiting to keep the size manageable. A thorough spraying with insecticide all over the tree when the fruit is still quite small, including inside the tree to eliminate the moths which harbour there, is very effective. Lychee - Wai Chee (Cutting) 8/10![]() Update: 3527 days 18hrs Comments: - This is a very small tree and is already flowering, not sure what to do if it fruits as its only 0.5m tall. Dropped all its flowers, not in the best position as its shaded in summer, may need to relocate this. Survived the Sydney winter no problem and put on a fresh flush of leaves at the end of summer, however, the tree does grow extremely slow. Neighbour has finally pruned his Jacaranda so this tree will get full sun this summer and hopefully put on some decent growth.
