Dwarf Macadamia - A16 (Grafted) 1/10![]() Update: 2291 days 12hrs Comments: - Maybe it is more subtropical than a warm temperate zone. Likely it wasn't protected enough Too much hard work for the value of the nut.... will stick to something that likes arid conditions until we can actually be there full time to care for the more delicate Planted: 2015 Growing: In the Ground Qty: 2 Sun/Shade: Full Sun Water Given in: Spring SpringQuestion: How far apart should you plant them. We have two. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report 5 of 15 people found this review useful CommentsMarkmelb says... [2888 days 16hrs ago]Where are you fiona as I have an A16 growing well against a north facing brick wall and doing quite well here in Melb and Macca similar to Pinkaliscious in a more open spot doing well too -- see my edibles - markmelbFiona11 says... [2884 days 15hrs ago] Thanks Mark. Mine in Streaky Bay SA. I think north wind was a factor and we don't have the conditions yet (shelter / heat mass) to grow subtropical at this time.* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy |

Dwarf Apricot - Fireball (Grafted) 10/10![]() Update: 2951 days 7hrs Comments: - Fruits 6 weeks or more before Moorepark and before birds work out to ransack my garden. Big, fat, flavoursome fruit of vibrant colour. Shades chicken coop and twice the size of the much older Morepark nearby. All Daleys trees do better than those bought locally. Very satisfying being so quick from flower to fruit. My children won't eat apricots (weird) so they are all for me. Bought a preserving unit in anticipation of years ahead. Dwarf Papaya Torpedo (Seedling) 8/10![]() Update: 3319 days 21hrs Comments: - Papaya on the left in the picture is the Dwarf Thai Torpedo and the Papaya on the right is the Southern Red ( Both from Daleys). The Dwarf Papaya arrived in a poor condition due to the courier service holding the poor thing over the weekend! by the time i recieved it, it had shed alot of leaves and the potting mix was bone dry. They are now both in an "Air Prunned Pot" (430mm) and recieving alot of TLC to nurture them back to health. Still very excited to see these develop into larger specimens and to compliment my other Papaya's. Pots have excellent drainage and my own blend of potting mix, again regular dose's of Seasol and osmocote slow release fertilizer to help it along. The filtered sunlight from my semi-enclosed pergola is the perfect light for it here in Adelaide and will update progress of these Papaya in another 3 months or so. Planted: 2016 Height 0.7 Feet Growing: In a Pot Qty: 2 Pollination: Self Pollination Fertiliser or Organics Used: Seasol and Osmocote Pest Control: None.
