Dwarf Lime - Tahitian (Grafted) 10/10![]() Update: 754 days 1hrs Comments: - Going great, has lowanna strawberries growing around the base with some french marigolds and a french lavender as well. Doesn't seem to mind, in fact they may be acting like mulch perhaps. Al lthe fruit dropped this time, but that's to be expected with a brand new young lime tree. It was also suffering black aphids for a day or two before I noticed, but some white oil sorted them out very swiftly and then ladybirds came and helped as well. Very healthy, happy young tree. Dwarf Avocado - Pinkerton (A) (Grafted)![]() Update: 1282 days 19hrs Comments: - Plant arrived in in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates. May 2020 - No growth or changes in tree until the leaves all started slowly dropping in April - I think I wasn't watering enough out of fear of root rot. However new buds formed as the last leaves were coming off and there is now new growth. We will see how it copes with winter in Toowoomba - may have to bring it inside on cool nights. There has already been a night of 5 degs - I'm wondering whether some of the new buds have been damaged (turned grey). Winter 2020 - Brought to Brisbane out of fear of Toowoomba winter causing damage. Unfortunately a possum stripped the plant of every leaf! Autumn 2021 - has rebounded well since possum attack. Had a scare when repotted into 45L planter bag from 30cm plastic pot. Noticed fungus gnats buzzing around soil. Turns out the planter bags drain poorly when positioned directly on concrete/soil. Once pot feet (improvised short sections of PVC pipe) were added, problem was solved. September 2021 - Currently in 45L planter bag. Survived Toowoomba winter outside in pot with minimal leaf loss (under shade cloth so no frost could settle). Currently having flush of new growth. Dwarf Peach (Seedling)![]() Update: 1282 days 19hrs Comments: - Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates. May 2020 - Was mildly sunburnt just after purchase and potting. Although it arrived full and bushy the tree has gradually dropped most of its leaves - perhaps due to the sunburn or winter approaching (if Apr-May isn't too early for this). It is still holding onto a few leaves and beginning to produce new ones - just looking a little straggly currently (photo uploaded). September 2021 - Has grown (branched) but remains a compact ~30cm height. Flowered for the first time this August - nil fruit set. Suffering from some peach leaf curl - however not on a high percentage of leaves. Currently in 20L pot. Dwarf Mulberry - Black (Cutting)![]() Update: 1282 days 19hrs Comments: - Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates. May 2020 - In late April / early May had a small flush of new growth with the beginnings of four mulberries (now tasted - delicious and sweet). September 2021 - Now in 45L planter bag, growing well. Growing vigourously after winter, with many new berries forming. Planted: 2020 Growing: In a Pot Qty: 1 Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pollination: Self Pollination Was this review helpful? Dwarf Lime - Tahitian (Grafted)![]() Update: 1282 days 19hrs Comments: - Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates. May 2020 - Has had one flush of growth since potting - new growth was damaged by citrus leafminer. Spring 2020 - Flowered set one fruit (which dropped). September 2021 - Now in 25L pot. Flush of new growth & flowers now (will knock these off), however has been slow growing - likely due to allowing to fruit last year and growing in a pot. Survived 2x Toowoomba winters with no damage (under shade cloth so frost couldn't settle). Planted: 2020 Growing: In a Pot Qty: 1 Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pollination: Self Pollination Was this review helpful? Dwarf Orange - Cara Cara (Grafted)![]() Update: 1282 days 20hrs Comments: - Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates. May 2020 - Has had one flush of growth since potting - new growth was damaged by citrus leafminer. Sping 2020 - Flowered & set fruit which later dropped. September 2021 - Is now in 25L pot. Has put on a flush of new growth and flowers (will knock these off). Has grown the fastest of my dwarf citrus - likely would have grown more if not allowed to set fruit last year. Has survived 2x Toowoomba winters outside (under shade cloth so frost couldn't settle).
