Kings Park Special is one of the larger Callistemons, so it is great for a tall screen or feature tree. Like all callistemons, it is hardy and bird attracting.

The fruit is green before it ripens, then turns golden, sometimes having a reddish tinge when ready to eat. Soft, tasty flesh surrounds a hard seed that looks like a miniature coconut.
