Lemon Verbena

Our Lemon Verbena has settled in happily into its large pot. I read that they may not flower when grown in pots but this plant is. I enjoy the scent it gives off when a leaf is crushed. It looks lovely too.

Lemon Verbena

The idea that i can use it for lemon zest especially when I don't have lemons from my lemon tree or the supermarket appeals to me. Also it is a very nice looking plant and my wife likes the flowers which have just started to come on.

Lemon Verbena

I grow this easily in poor sandy soil. Stands up to the heat and dry well, although it needs a little water. Has survived frosts down to -7 degrees.

Excellent plant to control guardia. Has a pathogen bactericidal action.Make a strong infusion by putting several 6-8" growing tips in teapot. Add boiling warer, cover, let stand for at least 5-7 minutes, then drink. Can add honey to taste.
