Best suited to areas with cold winters and hot dry summers, requiring 1000 hours below 7.5 degrees in the winter. Well suited to hot inland areas of southern Australia. Fruits ripen earlier than the Kerman selection, extending harvests. Summer and autumn need to be dry to prevent fungal problems. I've found that when using fresh Stevia, it works better if it is boiled. So I put it in water in the microwave and keep the leaves in my drink, since they keep leaching sweetness.
